Mule Barn Theatre Guild hosting events for kids

Please joing the free, fun activities sponsored bt the Mule Barn Theater Guild, including a hobby/craft or games. This is for students who have finished kindergarten through fifth grade. It will be in the basement of the Tarkio Resource Center and run from 10-11 am on June 30, July 7, July 14, July 21, and July 28. Please wear clothes that could get paint on them. Pre-registration is necessary. Lunch will be provided for a free-will donation.

Atchison County Fair to begin July 7

The Atchison County Fair will go on as planned with a few modifications and cancellations. The fair will be held July 7 - 10, at the Atchison County Fair Grounds.

Pop-Up Mobile Pantries

Community Services Inc., along with Second Harvest Community Food Bank, will be hosting three more Pop-Up Mobile Pantries in Atchsion County in July.

Liberty Theatre hosting youth production workshop of The Little Mermaid, Jr.

The workshop for leads/supporting roles will run July 13-17. All workshop participants will meet July 20-24. They will meet Monday-Friday from 9 am - 12 pm for both weeks. Safety precautions will be taken. Performances will occur sometime during the weekend of July 24-26. Registration closes July 1.

"Magic on Main Street"

The Fairfax Optimist Club has chosen "Magic on Main Street" as the theme for the 2020 Fairfax Fair which will be held August 21 and 22.

Notice: Rock Port Food Country

We will be adding another day to our home delivery service for those who are social distancing, self-quarantining and those unable to get out. Home delivery days will now be on BOTH Wednesday and Friday starting on Wednesday, March 25 and continuing until further notice.

If you call the store by 10 AM, we will gather your orders in the order calls are received. Once your order has been rang and packaged up, we will call with your total and ask what form of payment you would prefer to use. Simply put your payment in an envelope with your name on it outside your door. When we deliver your order, your receipt and any change due will be left inside your bag along with your groceries outside, weather permitting.

There will also be a slight change in our operating hours as the first hour of the day, from 7-8 Monday thru Saturday, and 8-9 on Sunday, will be set aside to allow our 65 and older customers to shop. We have been working very hard to keep all high touch areas sanitized, as well as a deep sanitation after the store is closed.
